Motorbikes turn of the Piedmont and the Peaks Edition 2006

As in the last years we keep on participating in this beautiful initiative of the FMI which, supporting herself to the valid local motoclubs, there make to know some beautiful angles of our region!

1^ Time Sunday 11 June Lake of Orta

107  Km.

    Parties of good morning we take the highway to arrive quickly to Gozzano and already from Borgomanero we see the traffic on 2 wheels to increase for which we return account that will be a beautiful demonstration!

        To Gozzano we immediately handle the registration and the breakfast of rite, finds again the friends of the Istria and departs for the turn in direction Pogno where, under The curtains of the commune, we taste a snack of half morning!

        Taken back the motorbike we cross and we go down in val Sesia to Valduggia, where we take for Borgosesia and we go up again the valley crossing Quarona; near Varallo we divert it and we salt toward the full one of Arola that we reach crossing dense woods that open in beautiful panoramas on the fund valley; touch us another snack!

        Left again we go down the lake of Orta that we reach in the aiming country of Cesara, where we begin to coast along it thin to arrive to Omegna where the real lake is born; we still coast along for few kms then to Agrano we salt toward the Mottarone.

        The road is very beautiful, the fund is good and the beautiful curves you bring to exaggerate a little! Seeing with pleasure that we have a double belvedere, on one side the lake of Orta and from the other one the Maggiore, we release for tasting us the panorama up to the point where a coffee not there be I have him denies anybody!

    From the Mottarone we go down again along the same road up to reach Armeno where the organization waits us with a' excellent pasta; we continue toward Gozzano coasting along again the lake where, consumed the nth snack we greet the friends and street, unfortunately in house!

2^ Time sunday 16 July   Stura valley

105  Km.

    We depart of good morning, not for the distance to cover but for the warm really oppressive of these days; let's be immediately to Demonte where handle the registration and the customary formalities, as to greet and to spend the due time with the friends that rarely see unfortunately!

    We depart for the turn, and after having gone out of the country, we divert on the right orografica of the river climbing on the steep road that brings us on the watershed of the mountain where we find a small church or the madonna of the collar.

    A break and we take to go down toward Valdieri, the road doesn't change, always a lot of curves with the fund that is a mixture between holes and sand; we are in val Gesso and left Valdieri we take for Entracque that we reach from east after being passed under the imposing dike ENEL, in country, always very nice and pleasant, it waits us for a pleasant refreshment, we also make us honor thanks to the warm extreme and then we leave again in direction of the fondovalle crossing first Roccavione and then Robilante.

    We cross the government one that brings to the Curtain and we scrambles us on the opposite slope to reach the collar of the Moor a small saddle dipped some woods that it divides us from Boves on the other slope.

    Compacted the group go down toward Boves, the road is enough dirty because of the recent storms that have beaten the zone, but we go down calm, let's cross the country and reach the point of I refresh where waits us for a' other picks with the due fresh drink!

    Gone up again in saddle we reach the warm Suburb St. Dalmazzo and crossing the road that we have done few hours before we cross Vignolo, Caraglio up to reach Dronero from where we turn for the last control schedule of Montemale that we cross to the flight to arrive to it covers of Valgrana; now we don't remain but to return to Demonte, we cross Bernezzo and Vignolo, diverts again for still making two curves toward Roccasparvera and to Gaiola we return on the government one that quickly it brings us to the arrival.
