Motorbikes turn of the peaks - Edition 2007
As in the last years we keep on participating in this beautiful initiative of the FMI which, supporting himself to the valid local motoclubs, it makes us know some beautiful angles of our region!
1^ Time Sunday 3 June Mondovì
105 Km.
Parties of good morning we take for Saluzzo and from here, passing for Levaldigi, we reach Fossano.
The already precarious time decides for a light shower but nothing serious! we continue surpassing Trinità and we arrive in Mondovì where we can find, in the plaza of the market, the warm reception of the partners of the motoclub Grandabike.
Let's inscribe us and immediately a beautiful coffee and warm brioches! We depart therefore for the turn what it will bring us in a foreshortening of the Alps Marittime: in Villanova immediately a standstill for a good appetizer and tartine (is preannounced hard for the stomach)!
Taken back the motorbike we return in the fund valley and we coast along the sanctuary of Vicoforte then to St. Michael we turn in direction Pamparato that we reach through a beautiful road all curves, ruined unfortunately by the rain.
After having tasted some good pastas of meliga specialty of the zone, we continue crossing to half coast the greenhouse of Pamparato up to Sant'Anna where we take the road that brings us to Bossea and her caves.
Here it waits us for the hourly control, but we immediately leave again because in the impending one Fountains waits us for a good polenta and sausage!

With the full and warm stomach we depart for climbing the hill of the Prell, that with the his 1615 ms. represents the tallest point of the turn! Sinned that the time spoils him and succeed in seeing only some flashes of lawns in the middle of sharp pains fogs! Also the underlying Snowy Lawn seems a ghost!
Let's try to quickly go down up to Frabosa Sottana to escape the rain and from here aim for Villanova where waits us for another snack! and finally let's go down to Mondovì!
Clearly it is not enough yet and then at 2 o'clock in the afternoon the new funicular that connects the city to the suburb of Plaza take, where the partners of the efficentissimo motion club is waiting us with a mixture of meat and vegetables to the grate! After having we eat too much for the whole day, we can conclude the day with a coffee and greeted the friends reenter to house!
