400  km.

Accomplice a beautiful autumn day we decide to challenge the fog to cross Roero and Langhe to reach the Appennineses, Liguri and particularly to almost cross the footstep of the Turchino to precipice on Genoa.

To avoid the highway cut the damp and grey countries of the low pinerolese, overcomes Villafranca and Vigone up to reach Villastellone, from here I take for Poirino that I overcome, and enter the Roero to Pralormo; thanks to the new suspender I quickly overcome Montà and Canale then, old-fashioned St. Damiano, takes for Asti where I remain almost stopped in the traffic of the new bypass road for Costigliole.

With endless patience we reach Nice Monferrato and the beautiful Acqui Terme; the road finally does him more interesting climbing among splendid vineyards with a to follow him of curves and of changes of inclination until to Ovada.

You abandon the Langhes and her vineyards, we begin to climb the buttresses of the Appennino Ligure; we insert there in a hold valley overhung by the highway for Genoa. Reached Rossignone the walls they open but the road always climbs up to Field Ligure where we cross some green lawns (what we find a few unusual for the zone) up to the small center of Masone where, with few and steep curves, witness the small gallery that is the footstep of the Turchino.

Just crossed the gallery, we take on our right the small road that brings us with a stupendous asphalt and a, landscape from tall mountain (to few kms from the sea!), to the 1061 ms of the footstep Faiallo; thanks to the beautiful day the areas of pic nic are full and the people this beginning in autumn enjoys him in these beautiful mountains.

Overcome the footstep we go down again for steep valleys, we find again the vegetation in the form of dense woods and small and lost suburbs what they punctuate the few clearings; we finally reach Sassello where we grant us some rest for then to leave again and to cross the hill of the I Benefit (516 ms. and we find him/it pizzicato in a small village) and to finally go down, first in the valley of the stream I Err and then to Dego we take the valley Bormida that brings us to Plain Crixia and from here, again in Piedmont to Cortemilia, we are in the Langhes and the I return home is the usual history!
